'Smallville' exec teases Darkseid reveal

It's that time again folks! Time for Smallville to gut another iconic character of course!

Smallville producer Brian Peterson has revealed that comic villain Darkseid will appear in the series as a "dark force".

He told TV Guide that viewers will not see Clark's latest nemesis in physical form any time soon.

"We're really introducing Darkseid in a different way... as a dark force," he said. "[He is] kind of a parallel to evil that will start to overtake the world and sends hearts and souls towards a darker agenda."

Peterson explained that the villain will be represented by his minions, the Harbingers, in future episodes.

"We're personifying the Harbingers," he said. "Like Granny Goodness. Desaad makes a couple [of] quick appearances, [as does] Gordon Godfrey, so we're not going to actually see the embodiment of Darkseid himself for a while. We're saving that."

He also refused to confirm whether Darkseid will be portrayed by an actor or through computer-generated effects.

"That part I can't really promise because we have yet to completely break the end of the season," he said. "But what I can say is that I think [his appearance] will be a great payoff to what we've planted."

The one in the latest (second latest?) season with the old super heroes was pretty good, though in typical Smallville fashion the fight scene only lasted five seconds.

Hitler should so be the Season 10 bad guy. They know it's ending, so why not just be completely bizarre?

They could go back to the show's roots, whereby some guy eats some meteor rock (Kryptonite) by mistake, or something, but this hunk of rock landed in Germany or some sort of shit like that.

Then some Nazi, or something, like totally lame like that, totally takes the Rock to Hitler who touches that shit. It's then lost, or something and somehow gets eaten by this dude who then completely turns into Hitler, and he feeds a hunk to his dog, who turns into Eva Braun, who he shoots because he was hoping for Himmler or some other top Nazi dude.

He then starts pulling all sorts of crazy shit, like inviting Jews to parties in Metropolis under the guise of Mister Schaudenfraudebeinlichensteinenstucker, and then burns them all in a big oven, and he throws Kryptonite in and it becomes airborn and Clark eats it and dies but Chloe gets naked which somehow brings him back to life and Clark kills Hitler with his crazy Heat Vision which everyone starts calling "Nazi Death Beams" and the last episode kinda ends in some sorta weird limbo where nobody knows whats going on like all the episodes before it.
