Snobs

Best is to chuckle to yourself like you would if a child said something naive. I guess you're giving them a bit of their medicine, really. It says "yes, I identified and understood your attempt to undermine me, and it's fucking hilarious, you little idiot. Now run along".
 
Snobs don't think they are bad people. They may not even realize they are being snobs.
Their wants, needs, wishes, and desires are just as important to them as mine are to me.
Tell them you are partially deaf and then watch their lips while they talk.
It is amazing how what they say changes when they realize someone is literally watching every word they say.
 
Remember what the Snobs theme song said?

"I can't do it all on my own. I'm no Superman."

Snobs are secretly lonely and riddled with doubts about their own inferiority. They last out at the world as a defensive mechanism. If I ever saw Zach Braff in the street I would shake his hand and say "you got Natalie Portman to kiss you in a movie." This would instantly disarm his snobbishness.

MAYBE THEY'LL MAKE A GAY JOKE ABOUT TODD THIS EPISODE LOL.
 
I work with this black chick who is an uppity snob! She is quitting next week, thankfully. I don't particularly have any issues with her because I don't give her the time of day, but she has a know it all attitude and she never makes eye contact when she talks (with white people). Most of the time she is glued to her cell phone and when she needs to speak she talks while still staring at her phone. We work with developmentally disabled individuals & if any of them get too close to her expensive braided, nappy ass hair, she screams "no, no, don't touch my hair...you need to back off!". Yeah, she is a trip, but the other 2 people who work with her are black...so, they don't give a fuck! Also, she does her job while sitting in a chair the majority of the time. Yeah, I don't get it either.
 
Some people are snobs out of fear. It's as if they are seen associating with lower than XYZ, it's proof that times are really that bad and, they are the ones who will never rise above it.
