I don't think he should be discounted from going beyond 100 even though he will clearly not be in any long term plans. His technical ability is still a great asset and he is extremely fit so is still playing like he's in his late 20's.
He's lost a pile of pace, and he can hardly make it through 90 minutes. By all means introduce him to the set-up, but I'd prefer to see Aaron Lennon get a run. He played well on Sunday until subbed because of a team-mate's red-card.
agreed; D, I wouldn't say Becks is still running with any great speed ; - his knee seems to give out at a certain point in time, too.
- BUT - I defy anyone who slags his ability at set-pieces. They should keep him on hand for that and stop expecting him to save the day in the last fifteen minutes any more.
