So I saw the whole of season 2 daredevil

A little repetitive but fun, was about to start season three and apparently I need to watch a bunch of other shows first, including iron fist.

Question for those who saw it, can I jus watch the defenders and get the gist of it?

It's been years, I can't remember at all. I remember The Defenders came out the weekend my mum died and, even taking that into consideration, it was still shit. I don't remember many references to other things in season 3 apart from the Elektra stuff? (Okay I guess I do remember.)
