A load of bad taste jokes about paedos and stuff that had alread been uncovered before the first Guardians came out. He apologised then and the tweets were deleted. A right wing blogger (and admitted rapist) started circulating an archive of them. Disney appearently decided it would be easier to fir Gunn than explain context, even though there's likely to be a far bigger backlash to the firing than a bunch of tweets that had already been discussed years ago.

He just comes across as an edge lord that is always looking for the shock value joke. Shitty jokes and bad taste for sure but is that a crime? It doesn't mean anything. So stupid that he gets fired for this.
