I don't know if its age thing, or a messing around with wood thing, but this time last year I had a few drills and a couple of saws, now every trip to Aldi I end up with a new power tool.

I got a circular saw, a chop saw, a table saw, a belt sander, an orbital sander a mouse sander, and today I got a bench drill.

I maybe turning into Tim Allen.

I love tools. My faves currentkly are my mototools, which I have a vast array of attachments for, along with a power drill press for it.

I'm thinking about buying a little slice of land somewhere just to build myself the perfect workshed.

I work in my garage so space ran out fairly quickly, I did extend it out the front, but it's not entirely waterproof, still a work in progress.

The best surprises often sneak up from behind.

I didn’t even know most of those were things, but I reckon I’ll get the same way with kitchen gadgets soon enough.

You wouldn't believe the hours of YouTube I have watched of other people making things out of wood.

Still it's a great sense of accomplishment when you make something useful that didn't exist before.
