For those playing along, OOTIKOF seems to have had some "difficulty" in the last 24 hours. While the key players in this drama would seem apparent, it occurs to me that the stunt they pulled, erasing the entire board without any mod record at all, would require administrative assistance. Any comment?

Would definitely have to be an admin unless someone was actually stupid enough to give out log access to mods. Fucking idiots lol and let me guess they don't do daily backups.
 
There's also some trolling regarding mods and boards going on. Quite ridiculous. Speaking of that, look who's lurking.

Hissy fit meltdown of the highest order. I wish you coulda been there dude. There were something like eight or nine disgruntled foam knights all with mod powers, and they spent three full hours deleting the posts line-by-line in the middle of the night. Of course they telegraphed it pretty badly so nobody was too surprised, but the monumental effort...

Administration over there does, in fact, do daily backups.

Any "mod" would know to just delete the forum and then reinstate it with the same name, empty. Takes about 3 seconds.

This is an expurgated version, but it's worth anyone here reading just these extracts and asking yourself if posting on a BBS is good for your mental wellbeing, or if you have a life.


Just the term "foam knight" makes me want to go out and hump the nearest living thing to expunge my memory of this.
