It's interesting how Species 8472 went from "THE MOST DEADLY THREAT EVER EVEN WORSE THAN THE BORG!!!!!!!!!!" to "Chakotay love interest" in about three episodes.
 
But it was Ellen Tigh so it's kind of cool?
 
Chakotay's magical totem tames the savage beasts.
 
It's so annoying that Scorpion was actually an awesome two-parter, but then the Voyager'd the shit up.
 
It's about the journey...even if every other hour of that journey sucks.
