Someone died.

That I know. Well, I didn't know her very well but she frequents my local bar.

She was in a car with some drunk idiot and they crashed. He managed to get out of the car but it burst into flames and she was burnt to death. She was 25.

That must suck to be burnt to death & the pain must be atrocious!!

I'd rather drown to death personally.

I appreciate the sentiment but I'm in no need of condolences. Its just typical bullshit, people getting themselves killed for nothing.

I know the feeling, Menty. Last week, a fellow dorm mate killed himself, and I took it pretty hard, even though I barely even knew the guy. Its shocking knowing any person is dead that you were around up close and personal before. I never really heard any good advice of how to deal with it, so I have none for you, bud.

Yeah, yeah, someone i knew died too, wtf am i to do about it??

If they are dead they are...well, dead!

I'm not upset.

Death is natural & i am jealous of those who have passed.

I don't fear my own death, and am at peace with its ever presseing presence, but let's not mistake that for welcoming death and being jealous of those who've attained it! :D

When you get older you stop letting death affect you. You have your own fucking problems to worry about.

Unless the person is a family member (and a family member you can actually stand to be around, at that) or a good friend, it's pointless to be affected by their death.

The only exception is when a kid under the age of sixteen dies. That's pretty tragic.

^I don't know about that.

Lets see...The first guy I ever kissed was killed in a car accident my junior year in high school, he flew through the windshield and went head first into a tree. A guy I was in high school drama with was murdred and left on the side of a road, that was a little weird, he was a cool kid. There was a family my family was friends with and within 15 years the entire family was dead. The youngest son was high on meth and jumped to his death off a freeway overpass, he never hit the freeway, a semi got him first, the funeral was closed casket. The father was so distressed about losing his "good son" he went out into the fields and blew his brains out, once again it was a closed casket funeral. The mom, after years of heartache and smoking like a chimney, died of a heart attack and finally, three years ago the oldest son got drunk, laid on the train tracks and was killed by a train.

Huh, I just realized that family sounds all white trash so I'll just throw in that the mom was an elementary school principal and the dad was a highly decorated something or other in the air force.

Oh, that reminds me, next Tuesday is All Saint's Day, holy day of obligation and don't forget to wear red.

What? Next Tuesday is all my day?? Then I get to force you to wear a bag over your head?? Wonderful!! I am so pleased.

Check the time stamps, Lucy. PLEASE GOD.

Funny this necro. Since it's inception someone I'm very close to that I work with lost their child in a very tragic accident. Her relationship with that boy makes it almost unbearable.

Death is meaningless, it's always there. It's only life that matters, while we still live.
