This is the best summation ever. It's a shame you couldn't do it with the 50K+ stream of absolute bullshit before.

Especially where all the decent threads were merged into one nonsensical mash.

Spamcapital II: A look back

Spamcapital II was also Spamcapital I...some people don't know that.
They don't know that the original karma thread Ily started was in there,
or the precursor to Spamcapital, my own I'LL NEVER STOP!!!1 They don't
know that most of my first posts @ TK were there, that I met Love Child
and Gonad there, or found Neil again there, but granted, they most likely
won't care about that. They don’t know that almost every major poster
at least stopped by for tea once, or that some posters died there. They
don't know how many buried treasures or bones, or how many defining
moments were in that thread, not even I know that.

There was more than a few novels, albums of lyrics, news stories,
confessions, poems, diaries, wars, and yes, a fair amount of asf,
if you looked closely, read between the lines, there was a bigger
story underneath, a story about all of us. Will that story ever
finish now?

It was historically vast. An ocean of spam. Over 50 thousand posts deep.
A thread so massive, it threatened to devour the server. And like any
dangerous beast, those in charge had to put it down. I know this I
get it. "Needs of the many" and all of that rot. But I'm sentimental
(some would same emo) enough to miss that thread, and to think
of it fondly from time to time. There has never been a thread like
it, and there never will be again. Rest in peace.

We're Knights of the Spam Table.
We spam whene'er we're able.
We do routines and chorus scenes
With spamwork impeccable.
We spam well here in Spamelot.
We spam-spam and spam and spam a lot.
We're Knights of the Spam Table.
Our spam is formidable,
But many times we're spammin' rhymes
That are quite unsingable.
We're opera mad in Spamelot.
We spam from the diaphragm a lot.

In war we spam like fable,
Quite spamming capable.
Between our quests we spam in vests and spam-spam whenever able.
It's a busy life in Spamelot.

We have to spam teh board a lot.
