Watched some Monday night football last night. Got to see the Philadelphia Eagles beat The Washington Red Skins. Good game.
 
I'm monitoring the Detroit Lions vs Arizona Cardinals & Denver Broncos vs New York Giants games (American football) via the internets.

All I can see is the scores & time left in the quarter, but that's alright.
 
Football (NFL) season is in full swing. NASCAR has about another month and a half to go.

College football is also going on.

I watched some of the Grimble league (big in brit) yesterday and Jimmy McGoven was up to his normal standard. His fletch ball has been improving all season and the Yardola was alive with trickles of applause for his Long chuck bordle.

That is what US sport sounds like to me.
 
I feel like you started out trying to make a funny post about a plausibly fake-sounding sport and then realized you couldn't finish it satisfactorily and turned it into a complaint about Americans.
