Ok, this is a wierd thread

But it should be funny.

Basically, I'm intending to make a TNG video to Thriller and I want the lyrics to mirror events from the show.

That's where you all come in. I need some help with coming up with the best clips for each lyric in the song.


You can add a few suggestions or even just one suggestion for any part of the song you want. Then I will edit it all together and see how it works.

I'm sure there will be some good suggestions. I have every single episode of TNG at my disposal so the clip you think matches the lyric the best can be from any of them:

^Too bad you said TNG... I could see the horta for this line.

But all the while you hear the creature creepin' up behind

^This line makes me think of the Borg.

You hear a door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run

^This one calls to mind the scene where Picard goes to walk through a door, but it opens into the vastness of space and he has to clutch the portal and pull himself back after he almost stepped out into it.

Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together

^Is there a scene where Data hugs his cat?

I haven't watched TNG in years... but this is a valiant idea, Menty. Good luck!

Good ones. I had the same idea for Picard walking out of the turbolift in Where No Man Has Gone Before. Other scenes for that line in the running are the time when Picard is stuck in the Turbolift with the kids in Disaster and when Lore beats Worf up in Datalore.

The first episode where they encounter the borg Q something or other. Anyway, when they first get the cube on screen, that wins.

There are several episodes where Picard just bursts out laughing hysterically. Any of those would work.

That's the one I couldn't think of. I knew that one of the female cast members came like a freight train from some strange ghost or energy ball.
