I once got drunk and couldn't remember which glass in front of me had liquor, and which had pee. I decided it didn't matter and drank both. I think the pee was the warmer one, but since I'd ran out of icecubes several hours before I ran out of vodka there was no way to be 100% sure.

The moral of the story, you ask? The new Trek movie might be vodka, or it might be pee. I'm still drinking it.

According to Lucas and all of the Star Wars errata, light sabers are length-adjustable. Meaning, you can have a light saber that's only two 1/2' long or one that's 27' as you suggested. Yes, I'm a nerd.
 
Star Trek is dead, long live whatever this is masquerading as Star Trek.

I don't buy it, I'm not going see it. Not unless Bill Shatner reveals that he's in it.

I can hardly wait for it to come out. The guy playing Spock is a good likeness and Leonard Nimoy is going to be in it. It wouldn't surprise me if Shatner made a cameo appearance.

I'm jumping up and down with glee.
 
That is okay. I'm not disappointed at all. It still wouldn't surprise me if he showed up in a cameo even though he says he was never offered one and it would have been cut and blah, blah, blah.
 
All I know is the movie could be really awesome and I would enjoy so very much seeing an awesome movie right about now. With all the therapy and rehab I've been going through the past few months, I'm up to running up those stadium seating stairs at my theater now. I'm just in need of a movie worth going to see.
