....can it really be spring?

The rain pounded so hard on the windows today. All day long. Walked to school with a rain coat and umbrella, still I was soaked all over.
I sat inside and waited for the rain to stop this afternoon so I could walk to my car. Listened to the rain and hail hit the metal roof.
Such a beautiful sound. Just the other day I too was noticing spring, the birds, the buds, a couple of warm moments before the sun goes down for the evening.
A hope that all the world is not dark and that one day soon I will not be cooped up inside my house come 8 PM.
I will walk outside and feel the night air, see the stars
Oh summer where are you? Spring are you far?
