I wanted it to be a great show. But the more I watched it, the more I realized it wasn't.
Sorkin applied the same kind of dramatic tension he once used for global political conflicts, to situations as dire as whether or not a sketch gets on the air for a comedy show. It just wasn't a good fit. I kept trying to care about these characters but ultimately it all seemed so...not worth it. It's too bad, really.
