The advent of the troll.

I've been mulling over this idea in my head for the last 36 hours or so. And I came to the following conclusion: The advent of the troll is a direct result of the advent of the Mod-Nazi. In other words, there would be no need to troll if it weren't to retaliate or to "show up" the mod-nazis. I truly believe this is true but I am willing to entertain other possibilities.

The troll has many advents, and most of them aren't positive. From self-entitlement, to selfishness, to desperate need for attention, to a lack of empathy and compassion, just to name a few.

Trolls existed long before the internet. They had many names: Assholes, jerks, immature kids, criminals, etc.

You should thank your lucky stars everyday that I will never be truly in charge of this board, because I'd exterminate the lot of you.
