My apologies to the staff if this is in the wrong section. I sent a PM a to an admin a few days ago but never got a reply back. If people such as myself are not allowed to post here I'll understand. Feel free to ban me, feel free to report my IP address to the authorities because I know damn well I've been reported hundreds of times within the past 2 weeks from YouTube to various message boards.
I'm here to answer questions and dispel myths and stereotypes associated with pedophilia. My first and most important goal is to convince people I, along with other pedophiles are not "evil" simply for finding minors attractive and that there's differences between pedophiles and child rapists. For the record, no, I've never had sex with a child. I'm hoping we can all be mature about this because all I got on YouTube was "DIE MOTHER FUCKER, DIE".
I'm also attracted to people my own age.
When I was 10 I was in a relationship with a 21 year old girl. Yeah, maybe being with her had something to do with me ending up attracted to kids, but it hasn't affected me in a negative way. I don't cry myself to sleep at night because of what that "monster made me do".
She was a "sexual predator", who I loved. Never forced me to do anything, and we're STILL friends today. Would you deny us?
1)A pedophile IS NOT a child molester.
In our society today, whenever one hears about children being abducted or molested, the automatic reaction is to assume that a pedophile did it. The word pedophile means an adult attracted to children. But it's become synonymous with child molester. Just because I'm attracted to young girls doesn't mean I go out and rape anybody.
2)You belong in jail!
Do you think I deserve to be locked away? Do you want see me publicly castrated? You tie me into the monsters who will abduct, rape, abuse, torture, and kill children. As I've said above, just because one is attracted to minors doesn't make them rapists. I would love nothing more to, as Lindsay Ashford puts it, have an intimate relationship with a young girl, but despite my views on the subject, I obey the law.
3)After the child grows older, pedophiles want nothing more to do with their "victims".
WRONG. My main age of attraction is about 11, however, that does not mean that I would leave her to rot once she turns 15
4)If the age of consent was lowered or dropped there would be more rapes.
WRONG. The age of consent means nothing. The sadists will rape a child no matter what the age of consent is. On the topic of age of consent laws, THEY'RE FUCKED UP. Do you think justice was served in this case-

Sad thing is, after 2 years, he's still in jail!
5)Pedophiles can't knack it with people their own age.
WRONG. I've had many girlfriends in the past. Lindsay Ashford himself has been married at least once and even has a daughter.
6)Sex
I agree with Lindsay Ashford and do not advocate penetration of prepubescent girls. Firstly, especially in younger girls, the vagina often is simply not large enough to accommodate an adult penis and attempting to do so could cause serious internal damage to the girl. Secondly, the vaginal wall is much thinner before puberty, meaning that penetration with a penis or even a finger can cause it to tear. Thirdly, there is a higher risk in young girls of infection with the widespread human papilloma virus, some strains of which are directly linked to cervical cancer. Whilst there is a new vaccine against this virus and condom use is known to virtually negate the increased risk, this vaccine is not yet widely in use and we cannot assume that people engaging in penetrative sex with young girls (especially in commercial sex situations) are using condoms. There are forms of physical intimacy that can be shared and enjoyed by both parties in a relationship without causing any physical or emotional damage to either party.
The Lindsay Ashford that I've mentioned is an outspoken pedophile, an interview he did:

In this letter to the editor of the American Journal of Psychiatry, Dr. Fred Berlin suggests that pedophilia can be considered to be a sexual orientation just like heterosexuality and homosexuality. While not condoning illegal activity, he believes that a different approach needs to be taken in regards to people with a pedophilic orientation. He states: The American Psychiatric Association should develop a contemporary policy statement regarding pedophilia. It should encourage nondiscriminatory and objective public policies and professional education, increased availability and access to appropriate psychiatric care, and the immediate establishment of an intensive research effort to more effectively address this important societal and mental health issue.

In a major 1983 study including 8,000 subjects, Michael Baurmann discovered that the assumption that sexual contact between minors and adults overwhelmingly led to traum in the younger person was totally false. Instead, he found that very few of the younger parties had long-lasting negative effects if they experienced negative effects at all.

Child Molesters: A Behavioral Analysis
Authored by Kenneth V. Lanning and produced in cooperation with the FBI, the fourth edition of this book is an investigative tool for law-enforcement officers and child-protection professionals handling cases of children who are sexually exploited. It provides investigative strategies, the characteristics of a pedophile, and the difficulties often encountered in cases of sexual exploitation. It introduces a typology that places sex offenders on a continuum, from preferential to situational, and combines the information from the previous editions of this title with NCMEC’s former publication titled Child Sex Rings: A Behavioral Analysis.
An excerpt from the book-
Situational-type sex offenders victimizing children do not have a true sexual preference for children. They may molest them, however, for a wide variety of situational reasons. They are more likely to view and be aroused by adult pornography, but might engage in sex with children in certain situations. Situational sex offenders frequently molest readily available children they have easy access to such as their own or those they may live with or have control over. Pubescent teenagers are high-risk, viable sexual targets. Younger children may also be targeted because they are weak, vulnerable, or available. Morally indiscriminate situational offenders may select children, especially adolescents, simply because they have the opportunity and think they can get away with it. Social misfits may situationally select child victims out of insecurity and curiosity. Others may have low self-esteem and use children as substitutes for preferred adults.

Sex researchers Ralph Underwager and Holida Wakefield in Special Problems with Sexual Abuse Cases wrote:
“Although the terms are often used interchangeably, a distinction must be made between ‘sex offender against a minor’ and ‘pedophile’. The former refers to a criminal sexual behavior and the latter to an anomalous sexual preference. Many pedophiles never act on their impulses. At the same time, not all sex offenders against a minor are pedophiles.”
