Funny story: during my travels this last year I found myself at Woodstock for a couple of shows at Levon Helms' Studio, which if none of you has visited is cool as hell and located just outside Woodstock. So after we did the shows, we were chatting with our hosts and playing Music from Big Pink, and somebody said "well you know that's right up the street from here" so of course we decided to drive by and take a look at it. Then later that weekend, while browsing the town, it came up that Levon is buried in the cemetery right near where we were so we decided to make it a Levon weekend and go see the grave. Rick Danko is also buried there but his family doesn't want people looking at his grave so it's kinda hidden. But we basically got to see where Helms lived, where he worked and where they put him when he croaked. Unintentional pilgrimage
