The Blowout

A customer is on her way to mexico with her husband. They came in to order some pesos and she had just returned from the salon. She had a Brazilian blowout! It looked fabulous! She told us it cost around $200. Myself and my coworkers were curious about it-because of how great it looked. But I don't think I will be getting this done any time soon-It uses formaldehyde!!!!!!!! (among other chemicals) WHAT THE FUCK?!

We met this barber last night while me and my friends were hanging out in a cigar shop. My friend wants his hair cut to look like Al Capone. I said I want mine cut to look like Hawk from Cobra Kai. It would only cost $30 according to the barber. He books appointments like 3-4 weeks in advance. He said we could all come in together, but my hair grows slow, I told the barber it would probably take at least 6 months to a year to grow my hair out for my Hawkdo.

No.
The salon puts chemicals in your hair, and then blow dries it on a super hot setting, then washes it and blow dries it again. I think a flat iron is ued also. Seems like such a ridiculous amount of work to have flat straight hair that also has body and bounce to it. Lasts 3 months.
