DON'T FUCK WITH MY TITLE BITCH
Just watched my VHS copy for the first time. A pretty fun movie. Makes me want to reread Marion Davies' autobiography. The "Anatomy of a Scene" after the movie was good too.
I guess the director was going for a black and white feel in a color movie by keeping the costumes in black, white, gold, and silver. Funny I didn't even notice this but I don't think that the addition of color in the costumes would have affected my enjoyment or opinion of the movie any.
I'd heard of this happening but I never bothered to read up on it so the retelling was engrossing and I was never sure what would happen next.
