Seen the pilot, does it get any better?

Not really. I watched the first few episodes and found it generally awkward with the occasional ha-ha. Now I skip it entirely.

The "black comedy created/run by the whitest guys on Earth" cloud just sort of hangs over it; during some episodes, you start wondering who would protest if you dared laugh.

I didnt have high hopes, but I enjoyed both family guy and american dad, so part of me really wanted this show to work.

The theme song is the best part.
