Did you hear that Roland is a ######? The same Roland depicted in the books that was acknowledged by Stephen King?

Did you also see black Roland's cameo in The Mist?

Why ARE they often so bad? I mean, the stories are good, they usually have decent casts and must have good budgets. It's like he has a jinx.

This one supposedly had huge behind the scenes problems all the way.

King actually hates The Shining because it isn't accurate to his novel, even though it's a great movie, so maybe he doesn't understand movies.

The Gunslinger is way too big a story for one movie. It could have been good if they'd made an HBO series like American Gods.

Most King novels don't translate well to the screen, unfortunately, but this looks okay if it's an abbreviated version.
