The First 24-Hour Period Since the Start of Summer 2025 Without the Need for Aircon

I'm almost there but not quite... but then I'm generally addicted to A/C, I like a slightly chilly home. I even leave some windows open a crack in colder months, just to make sure there's a sense of airflow in the house.

Maybe I'm just claustrophobic...

I'm an AC addict as well. On top of that, I keep fans running in several rooms. I need moving air hitting me.

I keep a fan blowing over my side of the bed. Drives Jen crazy and further under the covers.

We have the A/C set to 76 in our house. We still haven't had a day where it doesn't come on. But it's starting to go off sooner in the night, every night.

The A/C is off but the fan next to my desk is going nowhere until probably late November. I really can't stand not having some airflow going on.

The pool was a little cooler today in Crete, back to hull tomorrow so definitely no AC needed, not that it's even an option.

You're here at the best time. The mid-August rush is exhausting. September weather is PERFECT here for a holiday.

It has been pretty damn nice, a little windy today but that meant we got to see some waves hit the breakers.

I got a smart meter this year so I don't want to ever turn the heating on because now I'll be able to see how much it costs.

It rained today. I spent the night with a full blanket over me all night. The last time it rained was 120 days ago. I can smell that freshness on the air. REJOICE.

Imelda and Humberto are dancing off the east coast, it will be 90 degrees today, the air is soup. NO CHANCE OF TURNING OFF THE A/C IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
:rwmad:

I've turned the heating on several times now. But it's still kind of hot sometimes.

Not heat related, but I finally got a four hour break in the rain to paint the black bitumen paint around the bottom of the house
