The Government Shutdown and you

Dr Dave

pillzlol
Hello friends Dr Dave here!

You may be asking yourself "How does the government shutdown affect me", or may be thinking "I live in England and this does not affect me at all".

Well here is a list of how the United States Government Shutdown affects us all:

1) The Elderly Breeding Suppression Program:

Fun fact, for years the government has been funding a program to keep the elderly from breeding. That's right now that government funding has ceased for that program, within a matter of weeks the elderly will start breeding like old rabbits! Old men with boners will go about getting your gran pregnant! Elderly ladies will wonder into a buffet restaurant, eat some pie and pop out a kid. Within a matter of months we will be over run with the children of the elderly. CPS will be over run with cases of senile elderly folks forgetting where they left their kids.

2)Who really owns Scotland?

You may be saying "I live in Scotland, and The British own us!", well friend you're more wrong then Congress. For about 20 years, The United Kingdom has been renting Scotland from The United States of America. Many of the services Scots get actually come from America. In addition, if the debt celing is not met, The United States will have to sell off Scotland to pay off our debts. It's not too far fetched that China may own Scotland by years end.

I live in England and this does not affect me at all. From the outside it seems really, really dumb, though.

It's that special mix of stupid and petty that you see only once in a great while, rather than the usual mix.

On a related note, the GOP's approval rating has dipped to around 10% - mostly driven by the shutdown.

Which means little in the current political climate -- thanks to gerrymandering, the GOP has basically built bunkers for itself on a local/state government level.

They may not win the White House again for years, but they don't think they need it. Their plan is to rule from the bunkers. And it's partially working.

In the last House elections, Democrats got more overall votes than Republicans. But because so many states' districts are ridiculously drawn to favor the GOP, they still have the majority of seats. The gerrymandering has to be reversed.

Did you know those dumbasses in the House have to ask permission to bring scissors in to cut up a chart they made?

We really are run by a bunch of elementary school children.
