I've heard it referred to as the "Shoah". What does that translate to, exactly?

Great disaster, completely burning. The Shoah is usually used by Israelis to refer to the Nazi holocaust, but literally it means disaster, IIRC. It's not disaster like "my brother threw up in the punch bowl and ruined the party" disaster. Some Israeli official threatened the Palestinians with a Shoah recently which raised a few heads for obvious reasons.
As the The Holocaust versus a holocaust? Social indoctrination. The holocaust against the Jews in WW2 was the worst genocide in human history; never mind that at the same time 20 million Russians were dying, and that the number of Jews dying in the Nazi holocaust were something like HALF of the total number of the dead; only the Jews who died are remembered.
Of course whenever you dare to say anything like that, you're labeled as an anti-Semite.

She is the one who called me to wake me up. She told me "a plane just flew into the twin towers in New York." My uncle was living there at the time. We were worried about him. My first thought was, "well, a plane flew into the Empire State Building a couple of decades back. I'm sure the NYFD can handle this." While I agree with Dual that the numbers are grossly inflated, I personally buy into the holocaust story wholesale. Well, with a few reservations. I do for no other reason than that if I were Hitler, I'd attempt to wipe the bastards out too. Anyone who has dealt with a jew for any period of time knows what I'm talking about.
Interesting story behind the word "holocaust": it is Greek in nature and first comes into the jewish thinking through the Septuagint in reference to sacrifices to Molech. The word means "burnt sacrifice." Interesting choice, hmm?
