I guess it is based in Seattle. I stopped watching after the 3rd episode.
Dead high school girl
Lady cop with a son/fiance in California
going to move to be with fiance-work comes first
dead girl in politicians car at the bottom of a small lake
a Halloween costume and horny boys
and a school full of kids who won't talk

the typical show

oh and some references to the Northwest and a whole lot of rain every day.
 
Isn't there a show called The Killing as well or is that the same thing (I don't watch it/either of them.)
 
OH, i think I watched the first season of that. Who killed Rosie Larsen was the first season and they were supposed to solve the mystery by the season finale but the writer decided it would be a good idea to leave the season on a cliff hanger and people were :rwmad: and quit watching. I quit before that because every suspect was a red herring and it got tiresome.
 
I love how they added the dykes in, it's just great! I already watched the end of season 2 where the killer is revealed. And then I watched it backwards.
