Have any of you Superman fans read this? I was just wondering if Kevin J Anderson had raped another iconic series or if he did it justice.
 
Never heard of it, but it wouldn't suprise me.

He hasn't written any comix that I'm aware of.
 
He's a no talent hack who takes over other established series and shits all over them. This book is supposed to be about the time before Superman left Krypton (or whatever it's called). I was just wondering if the Superman fans were as disgusted with him as the Dune, and Star Wars fans are.
 
No, BUT I HATE HIM ON PRINCIPAL NOW.
 
He has written some fairly poor star wars novels too
 
He stole some Star Wars ideas and put them in his Dune crap too. Something about spiderwalkers and monks who have their brains put in a jar OR SOMETHING.
 
Yeah, those are the spiderthings that walk around Jabbas palace.

I actually have a Star Wars book written or edited by him...Tales of Jabba's Palace or something? It has spider monks, yeah. THE BASTARD.
 
Somehow he'll work Mandalorians into it. And a stupid super-weapon like the Solar System Eater or the Galaxy Killer or something.
 
I would wish that his hands would BREAK OFF so he could never write again, but he doesn't actually write anything.. he records all his stuff while he's hiking.
 
he should be pushed off a cliff then.
 
I somehow missed all of those except a few of the Sith Star Wars ones.

None of those were Superman, and most of his comics look more geared towards SF than superheros...which is probably what these book(s?) would be about.

Come to think of it, I think he co-wrote some books with Dean Koontz that weren't that bad, really. Not very original, but not the worst thing I ever read either.

I shall find it and read it becuase I want to see how bad it is. Supes was all of either a day or so old or a few months or whatever. He was a baby. Which means either he does some time travel dealy or its really all about Jor El. Either way it sounds the suck.
 
It is about Jor El, and in a very limited way, Zod.
