So yeah it's on the BBC and so is Atlantis and it probably won't be accurate to the orginal stories and I don't get why it's on Sunday at 9pm instead of in the Merlin/Doctor slot on Saturday, but the trailer is pretty good and there's Peter Capaldi and Young Adama from Blood And Chrome?
 
It will be glorious rubbish and we can only hope for the following parts of the "Lucky 7" formula:

1. Overt, and suppressed homosexual content
2. Heaving breasts in bodices
3. Men in those long white under shirt things
4. Oiled men in no tops
5. A long running romance between two central characters that means they are separated for ever, but tied by the heart.
6. A fat, funny bloke
7. Dark Magic / Black Arts (They might struggle with this one)
 
9. Complaints from license fee payers/Daily Mail readers about a black person being treated with an anachronistic degree of respect.

I'm... Erm, well "looking forward to" might be a little strong, but I think it could be reasonably good. I mean, it looks like some money's been spent on it, it's based on a good story, it doesn't seem like it's aimed at idiot kiddywinks and it has Santiago Cabrera who's always great. We'll see, but it could never be as bad as Atlantis.
 
It'll never be as good as Dogtanian and the three Muskehounds!

This was one of my favourite Monty Python sketch when I was young, possibly because I knew about Cardinal Richelieu from the Muskehounds.

It was...okay. I guess. The acting was fine and it looked quite nice. The story was okay. But there wasn't much spark. And like I said it didn't feel like it belonged on a Sunday night. But I guess some characters had sex and you can't have that on a Saturday at 7pm. Maybe you can't show a woman's shoulder at that time. I don't know.
 
They should show Dogtanian on Sunday Nights with the Chuckle Brothers in Dog suits.

IT WOULD WORK, TRUST ME.
 
I watched it. Kind of an adult Atlantis, in the sense that it's well filmed, has good actors and there's a lot going on, but it's ultimately really dull.

The trailer did make next weeks one look more intersting, but then the same happens with Atlantis every week as well.

Wasn't a bad episode actually. Danny from Primeval is always reliable and the plot was reasonable.

The worst thing is that woman who does evil things while wearing ridiculous dresses. Such a corny character, with cliches such as 'almost kissing conversations', 'showing the camera expositiony objects' and 'Batmanning in dead end corridors'.
 
BBCA says The Musketeers will be on in the spring. I will probably watch it then!
 
Was Baltar in the promo for next week? I didn't notice!

I was trying to figure out what the villain was from. Primeval is pretty low on my mental list of tv show.

It was an okay episode, again. Nothing terrible like Atlantis but still not rising to the level of being a good tv show. I agree evil woman is stupid and not really that hot. How did she just appear to rescue Dogtanian? Not enough Evil Capaldi this week.
 
Yes, that's right. People were chasing Dogtanian through the city, he managed to lose them and she magically Batmanned in the right location, then Batmanned out when she'd done a stupid almost snog and explained a bit of the plot. Surely there can be no such thing as SORCERY in this kingdom?!

I thought this week's was the best episode mainly because of James Callis with a crazy moustache and strangely deep voice. He gave an entertaining performance. And they even worked Porthos being mixed race into the story (I'm sure the "PC GONE MAD" crowd will complain about them being anti-slavery or something.)
