I tried to find pics of the interior, but none ar online yet. The park looks like a joke, inasmuch as every available surface is festooned with advertising. Seriously, in some sections, there is advertising on top of advertising, with advertising below it. It makes the Yankees look like a AA team.

I love it. I fucking hate the Yankees, and their "let's buy a championship" attitude. Even more, I hate Yankees fans, who are completely insufferable, even though their team hasn't won anything in a decade. Heh. I'm soooo glad the new ballpark is a piece of crap!

I can't wait to check out CitiField. The SNY sportscasters keep raving about the food all over the promenade. Weird outfield walls, though.

Apparently everybody but the Yankee's can hit come runs out of the place.
 
My mistake, it's a home game, and they dried off the field in time for the 7:10 start.

And OH MY MY, homers by Beltran and my future husband David Wright make it 4-1 Metsies in the very 1st inning!

Phillies got beat, 7-5, but it wasn't really that close. We tacked on some runs late, via the long ball.

Eh, the Phillies went 7-11 against the Mets last year, and still did pretty well. :)

That's the pesky thing though -- they keep having a new World Series every year... ;)
