Let us now commence to make foolish predictions until the series premiere, then nitpick and praise and complain thereafter!

I predict that Danny Pink will remain dead but that another weepy male character will be introduced, with whom Clara will fall madly in love (because she likes her men wimpy and weepy.)

First episodes of the season are almost always disappointing.

I am hopeful that Clara will revert back to her Series 7 self. Series 8 Clara was bitchy, and it got progressively less entertaining to watch.

The Doctor will start eating shortbread instead of jelly beans and every time he mentions it he looks directly into the camera and say "Google it, Americans!" and winks. And Clara will wear a metal bra.

Clara's metal bra will explain why she's been so bitchy in Series 8. And then in Series 9, she'll get into a catfight with Catwoman in a tub of jell-o, and Bill Cosby will try to be the referee 'til he falls over in a fit of helpless wanking.

And he'll try to convince the Doctor to stop calling him "P.E." using diagrams and sock puppets, but it still won't work, then he'll cut his throat and die again just to be melodramatic.
