The Purging

I don't know what it is about new places, sleeping in new places but I seem to have the strangest dreams in the beginning. It's like either my system is adjusting or purging from the last place, or all the new spirits from this place are trying to contact me through my dreams. I'll go with the first.
There are no spirits of the house trying to contact me. That's just silly.

I've always thought it was strange that we'd evolve the necessity to be entirely helpless for hours at a time every night.

Which, traditionally, is the most dangerous time to not be paying rapt attention.

Seems sort of dangerous to me.

Whenever I sleep in a hotel I experience that kind of really weird dreaming you speak of. As long as I sleep where I usually do then I just have my regular array of dreams.
