I missed the start. It seemed alright from what I saw, the story was similar to that Doctor Who episode with the evil teachers exploiting the genius pupils (in fact, Sarah Jane was in that ep!) and of course the Slithean eps, but as villains they're more suited for a kid's show and it was amusing to have the fat child turn out to be one. Sarah Jane is likable and the child actors were good, better than the cast of Torchwood in fact, SO I'D CALL IT A SUCCESS.
