The Standing Girl

One of the dealerships I visit has a cashier who stands behind her desk instead of sitting. She does not even have a chair in fact. I asked her today why she stands and doesn't sit, and she said it is healthier. "Indeed it is!" I said.

I would not like to do that.

In a weird way, she almost looked or seemed less productive. Weird huh?

So, when I see someone sitting-it is almost like they seem busy because they are typing or something-like I am now-except I am at TK. But her, she was just standing there-waiting for the next thing to do-not making stuff up to do.

I think she was very productive actually.

I like standing.

I hope she wears good standing shoes.

I'd mention the Seinfeld episode where George gets a rocking chair for the security guard (and he falls asleep when the store is robbed) but anytime I mention Seinfeld a load of people just appear to say they don't like it.
