THE SUGARHILL GANG: Wonder Mike - Master Gee - Big Bank Hank

blackfoot NAP

King Of Bling
The Sugarhill Gang is an American hip hop trio. Their 1979 hit "Rappers Delight" was the first rap single to become a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100; reaching a peak position of number 36 on January 12, 1980. This was the trio's only U.S. hit, though they did have further success in Europe until the mid-1980s. The trio reformed in 1999 and did a world tour in 2016.

Rappers Delight (Long Version)

"Rapper's Delight" is a 1979 hip hop track by the Sugarhill Gang and produced by Sylvia Robinson. ... The track interpolates Chic's "Good Times", resulting in Chic's Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards suing Sugar Hill Records for copyright infringement; a settlement was reached that gave the two songwriting credits. So this music wan't even theirs. LOL

That's what niggers do. Steal other people's ideas.

Like a lot of hip-hop culture, "Rapper's Delight" created its share of controversy — starting with the fact that its playful groove did not reflect the urban anger of other rap at the time. The Sugarhill Gang was also criticized because two of its members were from New Jersey.

LOL Calling themselves the Sugar Hill Gang and two of them weren't even from that area. For those of us who know, the Sugar Hill area is in Harlem, in NYC. The one guy actually from that area (Big Hank) died of cancer in 2015 or '16 and after he died the remaining thieves decided to cash in by "reforming" and doing a US tour, which fizzled pretty badly. Typical dumb black bastard bullshit.
