Right, we have reached the 100 mark. I think now it would be a good time to open this thread up for discussion on changes we might want to make. I think it's fair to say that there is some serious fluff in that thread that definitley does not equal a top 100 episode. There are also some great ones in there as well.


I obviously won't change any entries without the posters say-so first but those who participated should discuss what changes we should think about making.
 
I don't think Him is one of Buffy's best for a start, despite Dawn looking hot in it, there's quite a few Angel episodes from season five but not Smile Time, The Way To Eden is on it but not Amoke Time, Arena, The Domsday Machine, The Cage and so on...and Fraggle Rock? For real?

I'm sure some don't agree with my Xena's. I'm open for discussion on that.

I was able to catch the Voyager episode "Timeless," yesterday, and it didn't really grab at me. I found myself flipping the channel often times.
 
I debated on Angel's "Smile Time." A wonderful episode with puppets. Always a must. <g>
 
Hard for me to say...there are some shows I've never watched, just as I'm sure many of you haven't watched the anime shows I picked.

I probably would have added more Twilight Zone episodes, if I had bothered to sift through them more...
 
I'm going to be changing "The Ascent" which was one of mine. I love the episode but I think there are better candidates upon reflection.


If we can all agree on changes and episodes that definitley should be in there that can probably be switched with good but not great episodes then that's prob the direction to go in.
 
You can remove "Sacrifice 2." It was just a jaw-dropper for me since I hadn't read spoilers, so I love the episode. Unless others like it there.
 
I gave up on Xena when the introduced the thinly-disguised Christianity crap.

I was going to add Buffy's 'The Zeppo' at some point and Angel's 'Sleep Tight' (the one where Holtz takes baby Connor and Wesley's throat is slashed.)
 
The Zeppo is the shizzle. One of my fav Buffy episodes.
 
I was thinking about adding Buffy's "The Prom," because it's just so sweet when they give her the little golden umbrella.

"The Siege of AR-558" perhaps? "Far Beyond the Stars"? "In Purgatory's Shadow/By Inferno's Light"? Maybe even a darkhorse like "Crossover"?

I'd say "The Magnificent Ferengi" or "Looking for Par'mach in All the Wrong Places" as well, but those are more like guilty pleasures of mine than eps for the ages..."TMF" kicked ass, tho...
 
Magnificent Ferengi has one of my favourite comedy moments in all of Trek when Lek shoots Moogie. The action music just before is truly priceless. Far Beyond the Stars deserves placement as well. They all do..

The problem with Angel is that so many of the episodes are so good, its hard to choose. "Smile Time" is pretty much the last episode before the final series arc, where Fred turned evil. So I can see it.

Never watched Xena, so I can't say one way or another about that show. But, its Iconic, so we should have a few entrys for it. I just don't know what episodes deserve it.

I picked mine because it was, IMO, the best Millennium episode of the series. There were a lot of them, but that one episode pretty much summed up the point of the whole series. And it was net related. (Serial killer posting webcam footage of him killing people he met online, how could one not love that?)
 
To be honest, I added the Quantum Leap ep because I felt it was being ignored. I liked the series but wasn't a rabid fan. I think I picked the best ep to represent it, though...
 
QL had some great episodes. It deserves an entry on the list.

Yes, there's at least one as I recall.

EDIT: There are 2: the pilot, and Live Together, Die Alone
 
If theres space, I wouldnt mind the knight rider episode where you first see goliath.
