Let's talk first about the real guy behind the annoying ass duals: his name's Bruce Jacob Kent. I know, sounds made up. It's real, as far as I've been able to tell from what info I have.
The guy's from central Louisiana. I'd rather not go into more detail for the sake of legality.
It all began on the Trek BBS, where Bruce went by the username Darth Vader. He shared a computer with a cousin of his named Reno Meaux, who sometimes went by Chris but whose username on the TBBS was The Batman (among others).
Reno got himself thrown off for not being a liberal atheist (TrekBBSers can deny that all they want. I was there when it happend and was there long enough to know the game. Hell, I'm still there more or less, and the place hasn't changed. I'm not saying I disagree, it's just fact.) Reno pissed T'Bonz and Spiff over Dennis Bailey's Christ in Mascara avatar, and that was that. He was banned almost instantly. Bruce got himself permabanned on the TrekBBS for dissing Christian for asking people to pay money to join the TrekBBS. Neither Bonz, Neroon, or Spiff liked that, and Vader was shut down, but not before Bon Bon assumed Vader was also The Batman. Reno explained otherwise and stayed on 'til the Bailey incident as The Batman, but Bruce/Vader was gone.
Anyway, Bruce knew this was going on and took advantage of that to visit the TrekBBS under a few new usernames, among them, TrekBBS, which was pretty funny for a day or two. He was summarily kicked off. Reno was gone for sure, but Spiff and Bonz blamed him for Bruce's shit.
Anyway, Reno was here for a while as Darkside. He tired of the place quick and Bruce took over, adding six other usernames to his repetoire, if it's to be called that.
Thus Darkside is also TBonz's Clit, is also Voltage, is also Dracula, is also ۞RACLE, is also Michael Myers, is also recently The Red Knight.
Bruce checks in from time to time to argue with himself under other usernames or to act differently depending on his mood. But it's all the same guy.
How do I know this? Because I was there when the shit went down at TrekBBS and Reno and Bruce talked to me about it. I PMed Bruce to tell him I essentially agreed with him about the membership thing, and also agreed with Reno that he was mistreated over the avatar thing. I also talk to Bruce from time to time on Yahoo Messenger. Not nearly annoying as he is under seven different usernames.
So there's the deal. I'm revealing this all for one good reason: I think it's a hell of a story. Yes, I had some theatrics and drama earlier, but that was all part of the fun.
I doubt Bruce will go away for good, but this'll probably get him down to one or two duals. Reno's out of the picture as far as I know.
