3. Break up OPEC, forcibly. They're nothing but gangsters who spend $2 to produce a barrel of oil and then charge the world market $138
4. MANDATE that U.S. automakers convert to 95% flex-fuel vehicles by 2018. Loathe as I am for the Fed to get involved in private business, the US automakers are so fucking stupid they couldn't see a crisis that was looming for the last decade.

Everyone wants to kill us. Can't blame 'em.

At any rate, from the figures I've seen ANWR would at max produce less than a million barrels of oil per day after all the infrastructure and pipelines were built. Since we're currently using around 28 million barrels per day and it would probably take 10-15 years to get that infrastructure in place assuming it was approved, ummm, no.

1. If we (U.S.) doesnt drill more of our own oil, the price will decrease with the supply.

2. The more the government taxes oil companies, the less gas will cost.

3. Begging the oil producing counties to reduce prices will show that we have a tough, independant outlook on oil. They will comply to keep the business.

4. The more Green fuel that is produced, the less food will cost. Also, the rain forests would never be cleared to produce Green sugar fuels. Expensive Green fuels will replace gas any day now.
