I want to smell dark matter
It had been one year since Taylor Swift had watched the robot and the rock disappear. One year since the Squid God had gone. She had not aged a day in that year. She had no gotten sick once. If she wanted to, she could stay up all night without sleeping and not get tired, or go weeks without eating and not get hungry or even lose weight. The change to her was permanent, she knew that for sure. She'd written some of her best music in that year. Her latest album was the biggest seller of all time. She wondered if that was due to her power, or if her work was simply that good. But she liked the feeling. She liked reading the reviews, even from people who weren't fans, all amditting how amazing it was. She liked that she had brought people together through her music. She was on tour, playing sold out concerts every night. Thousands of people would show up in the hope of getting in, or just to stand outside to be near to her. And after every concernt, she had a ritual.

There would be people waiting to meet her. She'd have security let a few dozen through. She'd touch them, let them know that she cared about them. Enrich their lives. Most of them, anyway. But the best looking among them, male and female as Taylor was bi as fuck, she'd gather together.

And she'd take them back to her hotel room. She didn't even have to tell them where they were going. She'd just lead them. They'd follow, sometimes almost crawling. They couldn't believe their luck. She'd beckon them in. And then she'd ask them a question.

"Do you all consent to this?" she'd ask, in a way that would get her honest answer. She'd found she was able to get the truth out of people, like she could almost look into their minds. "Do you truly, of your own free will, want to take part in this?"

They always said yes. Every time. Taylor wondered sometimes if they were just saying it because she was making them say it. Or was it just becuase her power made her so attractive. Did that mean they weren't truly consenting? And yet when they said yes she believe them. They all enjoyed it. So where was the harm?

She'd remove her clothes and stand before them naked. Like a Goddes. They'd stared on her body in wonder. She could tell that some of the girls previously identified as heterosexual, yet they truly wanted to make love to Taylor.

They'd crawl over to her. Their hands would move up her body. She's sink down into the mass of flesh. The orgy would begin.

She knew one day it wouldn't be enough anymore. She'd need more and more people making love to her at once to feel something. Eventually it would be practical to have a thousand or so people having sex with her all at once. They'd never all fit in her hotel room.

For now she could still feel something. The sexual pleasure kept the dark thoughts at bay. She was aware that with her power, her influence, she could hurt people. She could even kill people and get away with it. Easily. And she felt that was fair, after what she had done for the world. And she hated herself a little for thinking that. But she had resisted those dark thoughts. She hadn't killed anyone, not even as an experiment. Not even the terrorist who'd tried to attack one of her shows. She'd been able to sense him. He'd had a bomb. But it hadn't gone off. Taylor knew she'd done that. She'd made the bomb inert. And she knew she could have turned her fans on the terrorist, had them tear him apart. She hadn't. She'd let him be arrested. Surely that made her a good person?

Taylor Swift didn't know anymore. She often thought of taking her spaceship and flying away to another planet. Leaving the Earth alone...but what would happen then? Chaos would befall the Earth, without her. She had to stay. She was the Earth's Goddess now.

She smiled as she thought that.
