I want to smell dark matter
The Professor wondered how long the flight would be. He did not expect it would only be eighteen minutes.
"We're here," said the ninja girl.
"But...how? So fast?" The Professor looked out of the window and could see nothing.
"Taylor Swift has technology the rest of the world could only dream of," she said, with disdain. Though, to be fair, everything she said to him was with disdain.
"All I can see is the ocean."
"You've no doubt seen the movie Black Panther?"
"Well, no. I've been enslaved by a robot for decades. Haven't really had time to see the movies."
"Then this will be even more impressive." The jet started to fly towards the ocean. Like it was going to go under the sea.
"Err..." said the Professor. It would be funny to die like this, in a plane crash, after everything.
"Behold," she said, with some pride. There was a shimmering in front of them. They were passing through some kind of forcefield, the Professor realised. A forcefield and a cloak. A city appeared before them. An impossible, futuristic city. It was overwhelming. The Professor could feel his jaw hanging open as they flew over it. One structure stood higher than the others, reaching high into the clouds. A statue of Taylor Swift.
"It's beautiful," he said, not sure if he was talking about the city or the statue.
"She is," the ninja agreed. "You are hers now. Your life belongs to the Goddess."
"My life is hers," said the Professor. Yes, that was what he'd do. Give his life to Taylor Swift. That would solve everything.
"And she can end it if she chooses," said the Ninja. Well, that was kid of a downer. The jet landed smoothly. The ninja escorted him out. There was a huge palace before them. So huge the Professor couldn't see all of it, couldn't even make out the shape of the building. But he knew it was a palace. And Taylor Swift was walking from it to greet him.
"How you doing?" she said said, smiling.
"I'm not worthy," he said, dropping to her knees in her presence.
"Oh come on, with everything you've seen you can't possibly...sigh. Sorry. Having everyone treat me like God just gets tireseome," said Taylor.
"But you are God," said the ninja.
"Well, yeah," said Taylor. "But I like to be recognised for my music, you know?"
"Tell me what you want of me and I'll do it," said the Professor. "Tell me what I can do to prove my worth."
"You can invented time travel and go back in time and destroy the Squid God in this timeline," said Taylor. "If you think it's possible."
"I'm already halfway there!" said the Professor.
