I want to smell dark matter
"I've finally done it!" the master said to his apprentice.
"Oh?" asked the apprentice, looking up from the deathray he was constructing.
"I've made...A ROBOT PENGUIN!" said the master, excited.
"Umm," said the apprentice. "I think I remember you mentioning a robot penguin once...was it a big thing?"
"Yes! My life's work. MY LIFE'S WORK!"
"Well, that's good then, congratulations."
"Do you want to see it?"
"Well, yes, yes I do," said the apprentice, though he didn't really see what was so great about a robot penguin.
"Here it is!" said the master, opening a small box and taking a robot penguin from it...which looked exactly like a normal penguin.
"Well, that IS impressive," said the apprentice, now genuinely impressed. It was so life like.
"Look at its wings! ITS WINGS!"
"Yes, very good. So...how is this going to help us take over the world?"
"Glad you asked! FOLLOW ME! TO THE WORKROOM!"
They went to the workroom. The slaves were constructing robot penguins.
"Those penguins don't look quite as good as this one..." said the apprentice.
"Well, no. This is the show penguin. Suck them in with the show penguin, then sell them a robot of shoddy quality!"
"That's a con!"
"You fool, we're evil! We kill people!"
"But conning them out of their money with low quality robot penguins? That's just too evil."
"The second batch will have death rays implanted in them."
"Why not the first batch?"
"We need to build trust with the first batch! Brand loyalty! THEN we kill them with the second."
"Okay, fair enough...hang on, this show penguin...it's an actual penguin! Not a robot at all!"
"Seriously, YOU build a robot penguin that looks that good!"
