"hijacked" Along with some insipid post title is not worthy of being in the non-spam forums. Why is this shit still in here? It's just spam, the only thing that these moronic simpletons can muster. If they can't understand that spamming in a non-spam zone is frowned apon because we have members here who appreciate some intelligent discourse then that's their problem.

If I remember right SF isn't a part of the non-spam forums. Besides this isn't much different from what we commonly see in SF anyway.
 
It's actually a step above what is usually posted here. At least it has a purpose, to piss people off, and it seems to be working.

Pretty sure it is.

And besides, filling up the forum with, say, 30+ threads a day just to see your name in one big block on the forum page is spamming. When it has NO reasonable meaning and is just a repeat over and over it's flooding. We should strive for fairness. Others have been shit-canned for flooding. We should never encourage tactics that are designed to take advantage of the board as a piece of software taking paramount importance over structuring clever and biting posts using a command of the English language. Since clearly the latter is way and beyond the ability of these flaming peons they resort to low-brow tactics. Yes, it's exactly the same as every other low-brow 'invasion' but I was saying the same thing then as well, and no doubt, it hasn't been stood for before.

It's hardly annoying me. I don't give a flying fuck about the SF. This is a lame forum anyway. Everyone knows I only care about the MF from my own posting needs POV. But in the interest of fairness I am perplexed that they are allowed to flood in this desperate manner because they have no other tricks. Seeeeems.. Inconsistent tis all.
 
You're pretty much right. It's flooding, it's stupid, and it's been done before. Whether you'll be listened to? Who the hell knows.
 
No, I listened. It was flooding. The threads were moved and the user put in DC. I certainly DC'ed MessengerX for doing the same damn thing. Fair is fair.

The guy was well on his way to it last night, but this morning he has the first page flooded. I saw this thread, but honest I was going to do it anyway.

You also have to figure the spammer was up all night doing it, like a coke binge and has been largely silent all day as a result.

Easy to do two pages when just a couple of people are responding. Anyway Cranky Bastard is intelligent.
