That's how I always imagine it.
 
I found scotish pubs to be generally friendlier than english pubs.

I liked Irish pubs when I was there, not sure what the difference is.
 
They don't wear pants in Scottish pubs, imo.
 
And by "pants" you mean "underwear", yes.
