Shut it, fuckstick. It has nothing to do with your imaginary friend and everything to do with cutting loose two states, one a freeloader and the other a thief, while our own nation is clinging to the edge of an economic and social precipice due in no small part to the effects of the aforementioned parasite countries.

Yep, insane CEO salaries are another thing that needs to stop. I doubt anyone would argue that their excesses have been completely mindblowing, especially after they've been so vividly exposed lately.

Or before that, during the Civil War, when Lincoln's version of protectionism kept the economic schism between the Union and Confederacy from destroying both entities?

Or before that, when Hamilton's protectionism kept the British from buying the country they had failed to defeat in warfare?
