Finally going to watch it. Season 1 of Prison Break was beter than Lost for me this year.. actually it was easily my favourite show last season and the cliffhanger was just teh awesomness, so this is something I have been anticipating for a long time.

Let's see if it keeps the level of sheer excellence up.

Fuck yeah.

i actually watched the first 3 episodes with a friend cause she told me the series was soooo freakin' great! It just never appealed to me.

Each to their own. It is awesome though, great show in every respect (for me) and not one bad episode in the entire first season.

It really gears up about midway as well.
 
I suppose i didn't give the series a chance, my friend told me it got much better after the first few episodes. I'll have to catch up on it another time.
 
The first season was awesome.. the second, not so much. Kinda killed it when the vet sewed T-bags hand back on. If he doesn't get gangrene and die a hideous death I will be disappointed.
 
Just watched that episode, I loved it! T-Bag kicks ass as well, the true personification of evil. I liken Prison Break to 24 in a way. It's high-concept so some of the stuff is a bit of a stretch but at the same time it presents it with gritty realism and the story arcs are so well put together you can let a few things slide.


We're only three episodes in so far, I just got through 2x02 and I'm hooked again. God, I love this show.
 
Yeah, T-bag is a great bad guy.. so evil. I wonder if he's going to get his ex and her kid. Probably almost do it before dying or getting caught. It would be great if his hand fell back off though.

I like Prison Break a lot more than 24, 24 is kinda repetitious now.. plus 24 does not have Wentworth Miller, he is so freaking hot.
 
24 has run it's course. It has been a fantastic series but now they're just rehashing the same old stuff. Nuclear/bio/assasination plot going to be carried out, can Jack save the world whilst breaking all the rules in time?

Props where they are due, but enough allready, if they are going to continue they need to reinvent it.

With Prison Break S2 they have broken out! The whole show has done a 360 and now we just have to see if they are upto the task at keeping the drama ramped up. One thing about Prison Break though, it's got some awesome actors in tow. Stormare rocks as does Wentworth Miller and the guy who plays T-Bag.. Well all of them actually.

Plus William Fitchner is an awesome addition to the cast thsi season as the FBI agent who may actually be Michaels match when it comes to cunning. He seems to be the only one who is able to match wits with Michael and it's allready made for one tense stand-off in the elevator in 2x02.

Totally agree with you about 24, it was very exciting in the beginning. They should let it go out with some dignity and not just keep going and going.

I was really kinda shocked when they killed off Veronica. I thought she was going to have a lot to do proving Lincoln innocence's, while they were on the run.

I hope Michael and Sara get together before the show ends.
 
Let's see if I can remember and rank the seasons of 24 off the top of my head:

S1: Assassination plot, A+
S2: Nuclear bomb, B
S3: Bio-terrorism B-
S4: Habib Mahrwan C
S5: Bio-terrorists from Russia: A

I really thought this season was great, almost as good as season one. I can't wait to see what happens to Jack, how he gets away from the Chinese!!

Episode 3 of Prison Break ROCKED! You see that Michael is still just a half-step in front of Agent Mahone....and Mahone keeps getting closer. An awesome show, and the actress who plays Michaels Russian bride is SUPER HOT!!

Menty, have you given Blade: The Series another shot?? It's gotten REALLY GOOD!!!
