so... any good mst3k lover knows that there was a distinct separation of casts - mike & joel. mike has his own project going now, http://rifftrax.com, where you download an audio commentary track and provide the movie yourself. you sync the two and enjoy mike nelson, kevin murphy, and other guests (including weird al yankovich at one point) riff on the film. one of the better ones to get there is Battleground Earth, no to mention ROTS.
but joel is doin' his own thing - he got trace, mary jo, tv's frank, and josh (the original servo) and they are snapping up the rights to some old movies, filming themselves riffing in shadowrama. old school.
DVDs are $10, direct download and burn. I can vouch for every episode so far, they are all a return to brilliance with a more adult take, but still silly and goofy. if you consider yourself a mst3k fan, do yourself the favor.
