^ same here re the New Balance shoes.
ok, guess I have to rescind my comment to Rommie about straight men and the number of shoes they have. Maybe he's just not into shoes.
I currently have 11 pairs of shoes:
Nike Shox W/R/Bl for cross-training
Saucony Running shoes
Nike Crosstrainers that are maybe 10 yrs. old (my "muck" shoes, for cutting grass, cleaning gutters, walking in mud
Reebok Allen Iverson All-Stars, Bl/W/R
Sketchers black casual
"Motorcycle" style ankle-boots that look kewl as hell
Brown Cowboy boots bought in Texas
Rockport DresSport H2O dress shoes for work
Payless no-names for my night/weekend job
Sperry Topsider "boat shoes"
...And I only regularly wear like 4 pair of those. Rockports for work, Saucony for running/working out, Sperry Topsiders in the spring/summer and Sketchers in the fall/winter. The rest just sort of clog up my closet.
