And so, we are back to it.
The few "strippers" who stayed and their hangers on have become part of the community, the rabble-rousers have been banned or left in disgust, and the latest sex-scandal has fizzled. We are back to poor trolls asking about shitty underwear and obvious gear-head trolls.
It's been about 2 months since the last bursts of activity started, and so we are back to the doldrums. One can set their watch by it. Please expect the "TK is Dead" threads to start multiplying at this point.
But Fear Not! Besides starting my paragraphs with conjunctions, there are other things to contemplate. The admins and "inner circle" regularly rise to the occasion by manufacturing some drama. Someone threatens to quit, someone starts a crusade or war with a woefully under-talented opponent (board or person), someone produces a dual to show breasts, the server crashes, or Red Wacker is dragged from the boogie-man closet along with a threat to buy the board and shut it down. I don't mind this actually, these activities usually serve the purpose of making this place interesting again for awhile. I do ask, however, that this time, come up with something new. I'm too tired of writing smut and too busy to seduce the uninitiated right now, so don't count on me to help. The best thing I've seen lately has been Mentalist's "Youtube" creations (truly excellent edits, btw).
