maybe Sunday evening is the worst for me as I know Monday morning (and the alarm going off) looms in my future.....by Monday I'm resigned.

I don't mind Mondays this time of year, as it means a new episode of Chuck followed by 24. Plus, I always get laid on Monday. So it's all good.
