I can't find the thread where Cait said that he was gay. My question is: how does everybody know he's gay? Is it just speculation? Or is there proof?

I'm just asking the question - I am not a fan of his in real life.

Those who think Tom Cruise is gay are:

1) Jealous of his superstar status
2) Envious of his incredible wealth
3) Individuals who know they would never stand a chance in Hell (my home)
of ever landing beauties like Nicole Kidman or Katie Holmes.

Their belief (or lie) that Tom Cruise is gay is simply them broadcasting their own self-hatred. Nothing more. They ask themselves 'if I cannot ever hope to be with such beautiful women then I must indeed be gay. No! I cannot accept this so I will distract everyone from the truth by claiming Tom Cruise is gay instead!'

He's not gay in the sense that he accepts himself for who he is and lives as a gay man.

He fucks men on the down low and covers it up with a religion that's run like a Weight Watchers program and believes the MOthership is coming someday.

This gay man says, we don't want him. Stay in the closet. Way back there by the old golf clubs and bell-bottom jeans.

I am defending him so I must have a crush? Not at all. I merely state my points. Is this not what the forum is all about? I merely defend and individual who worked hard to have what he has. I honour such individuals. He would make a wonderful fascist. He is living proof that one may succeed through hard work rather than government handouts to people like THE QUESTION. Is this so wrong?

Thanks for your response Eggs, but it still doesn't answer my question. HOW do we know he's gay? You say he indulges his hidden desires with men, but how do you know he does this? Is it rumor? I know the last couple of very public lawsuits were about men who claimed to have been his lovers, but Cruise won those lawsuits and the other person admitted they were lying.
 
The guy is batshit crazy, but I don't think he's gay. Hell, I'm not entirely convinced he's a part of the human race.

We don't KNOW he's gay, I mean, I never fucked him. But he's a part of the great rumor mill along with Kevin Spacey, John Travolta, Ryan Seacrest, Vin Diesel, Hayden Christensen, Tobey Maguire, Eljiah and the Hobbitses (except Sean Astin, he's a total het), Jake Gyllenhaal, and others who have been branded as secretly gay/bi for ages.

As for the lawsuits, Scientology has deep pockets and a great support system for its more prominent members. They either paid that porn star off or threatened to kill him, or both I bet.

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the dish.

Gee, I'd be more inclined to put stock in this rumor mill if some ugly guys where on it. Why is it Gilbert Gottfried, Jay Leno and Jon Lovitz are never "secretly gay/bi"?
 
Ugly guys don't stay in the closet, they come out and advertise as much as possible. They have to work harder for it.

I don't know if Tom Cruise is gay but my cousin was having drinks with his agent at the Four Season and saw John Travolta in a rather compromised position with an obviously gay twink.
 
Oh and we used to supply acrylic to the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center, they'd never, ever want it delivered and the women that came to pick it up looked like the biggest dykes. Not the mullett having plaid wearing types but the other type, the golfer type.
