What was the thing Picard said to him in the Defector right before the Klingons decloaked? "If the cause is just..." somethign.
 
OMG he has the forehead ridges that all romulans have but they are the same species as the vulcans but spock was able to blend in perfectly in unification parts one and two. This can't be a simple continuity error so let's all come up with some theories about what the truth is. Fucking Obsessive Trekkies
 
They are not the same species. They are distant biological cousins.

It is also true that not all Romulans have forhead ridges and not are all as prominent as eachother.

Savvik is a Romulan/Vulcan and Vreenak had hardly any noticable ridges.

Spock would have been more easily recognized as being "Spock" instead of not being Romulan seeing as he is an intergalactic celebrity of sorts. Besides he kept a low profile on Romulus so it's not really a continuity error.

It was in a cut scene from WOTK so it is partial canon.

And It's not sarcasm. Discussing fictional TV shows in an over-the-top fashion is deadly serious buisness.
